Happy Sugar Reduction Friday!

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

It’s Friday and time to praise the Lord again. For everyday is time to praise the Lord! This week, I’ve stayed on my sugar reduction plan more closely…especially after my Monday lunch. At that lunch, a waiter decided to gift my friend and I ice cream sandwiches. I had little self control and no commitment to my plan. Praise the Lord that God is committed to his plan. Even in my health and fitness plan, God sees hope and a future for me.

I’m holding on to that knowledge as I commit myself for today and the weekend to my continued sugar reduction plan. I’ve recruited a couple of friends from work to cut down on sugar and carbs. Hopefully, together we will be motivational for each other as we all work for increasing Divine Health.

My effort this week has been good and I’ve seen some more results. I’m very familiar with the plateau feeling. However, I thought I really couldn’t simply use the plateau excuse. While I have been exercising and eating better for some time, I could have done a little better. With my jump start of severe sugar and carb reduction, my body has responded and my weight is heading in the right direction. I’ve actually done this in the past and not seen immediate results. I’m thankful for them this time.

Clearly, there is continually maintenance to keep on the Divine Health path. With plans to prosper and with hope and a future, I know we can all meet our goal.
