It All Starts With The Word

Matthew 6:33 – But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

As those who call Jesus Savior, we should seek God first in all things. All things include or health and fitness plan. Most of us only have a weight loss plan and when we’re not actively trying to lose weight it becomes more of an anything goes plan. Achieve Divine Health is a deliberate plan of action with the goal for each of us to reach and maintain our perfect weight. Ultimately, we are seeking to live the purpose and the plans that God has for us. When we search the Word we find Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

These plans of the Lord, undoubtedly include us living a life in Divine Health. After all, we were created in the image and likeness of God. We were created in perfection. (Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”)

We need to seek the Word of the Lord often in our Divine Health journey because we are never alone. While we may not have attained our goal previously, we will when we stay the course. Some of us have become so discouraged in this health journey that we need the encouragement of the Lord and other believers. God’s love and the love of others on the path is always there for us. (Romans 8:38-39 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.)
